Doncaster Is Burglary Hotspot In South Yorkshire

The DN2 area of Doncaster is one of the top 10 places in the UK for homeowners making burglary claims on their insurance.
According to a report by Moneysupermarket.com, people with a DN2 postcode are more likely to make a theft claim on their home insurance than anywhere else in South Yorkshire.
And it says that places like Intake and the Wheatley Hills area of the town are some of the top 10 burglary hotspots in Britain; the area finished number 9th in the study. Number 1 in the country was an area in London.
Sheffield fared a little better: the area around Handsworth and Richmond came 17th on the list.
