Debate set for Hillsborough victim

Story Highlight

Anne Williams set up an online petition calling for a government debate and got over 118,000 signatures.

A government debate into the death of a 15 year old boy at Hillsborough WILL be held.

More than 118 thousand people signed a petition set up by Anne williams who wants a fresh inquest into 15 year old kevin's death

A coroner ruled that the teenager died at Hillsborough before 3.15, but Anne says she can prove he was still alive after that time.

It's been confirmed a debate will take place in Westminster Hall on February 22nd. Anne says, although she's disappointed the debate won't be heard in the House of Commons itself, she won't give up the fight for justice.

'He was worth too much to me and my family to just brush him under the carpet, and I think there's a lot of Hillsborough families that feel the same about their kids as well.

'Don't just brush them away. They were worth the world to us. Give them their right, their right to a fair hearing, and their right to know exactly what happened to them.'
