Police release Efit of a man they would like to speak to about an alleged assault
South Yorkshire Police investigating an alleged sexual assault on a woman in her twenties in the Sharrow area of Sheffield have released an E-fit of a man they'd like to speak to.
The man is described as black, between 25 and 30-years-old, taller than 5ft 8ins and of medium-to-broad build. He was wearing dark clothing.
Police would like to speak to him in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault, which is believed to have taken place at around 1.20am on Sunday 1 January 2012 on Club Garden Road in the Sharrow area of Sheffield. It is believed the woman had just been dropped off by a taxi shortly before the incident.
Officers would also like to speak to another man seen in the area at the time, who is also described as black.
Detective Inspector Sean Bird said:
"Officers have completed a number of lines of enquiry and are now asking for the public's help. I urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information to contact the police."
